With sound we can tend to our inner world, aid our physical healing and health, and harmonise our energetic system.

The phenomenon of sound is a dynamic form of vibration and energy. It is a creative and structural force in the universe and within ourselves. In this workshop we will explore two polarities of this: Frequency and sound's inherent harmonic properties; The Voice and our instinctive and intuitive healing capacities. We will explore the world of frequency through therapeutic tuning forks, and the potential of our voice through the wonderful practice of Vocal Tai Chi.

We will end the session by experiencing some Earth tuned frequencies in our bodies using our own voices, before moving into an Earth tuned soundbath.

Morning

• Welcome and Introduction

• The nature of sound - chaos vs structure, dissonance vs harmony

• Introduction to frequency and frequency systems

Break

• Introduction to Tuning Forks

• Tuning fork demo and practice

Lunch 

Afternoon

• Instinctive and Intuitive voice - self enquiry, expression, release, embodiment, integration.  

• Vocal Tai Chi session - Body-breath-flow - opening the voice

• Settling into centre with vocal frequencies for grounding, balance and alignment, moving into...

• Earth frequency tuned Sound Journey (Soundbath)

• Drawing it all together - Personal practice - advice and tips

What to bring

Please bring your own lunch, a yoga or camping mat, pillow, blanket and anything you need to be comfortable and warm for the sound bath.
