RHIANNON WILL NO LONGER BE TEACHING THE COURSE - only running workshops.
Rhiannon lives in Glossop, near Manchester. Her amazing, transformational journey started with Chloe Goodchild's Naked Voice Facilitator training, and she now runs workshops, called ‘Let Your Soul Sing !' to introduce people to the transforming practices of the Naked Voice.
She then discovered the power of Sound Healing through meeting Simon Heather and trained as a practitioner and later as a college tutor. She loved delivering the sound healing training courses for 8 years in Ireland, but has returned to train back in her home ground in the N-W of England, near Glossop (13 miles from Manchester)
For 17 years she has been in on-going training with Kim Rosen, MFA, an American spiritual teacher, spoken-word artist and poet, and now facilitates workshops using poetry as medicine - ‘Speaking Poetry for the Soul'. Kim's teaching is that allowing poetry deeply into ourselves - ‘awakens, nourishes, inspires and heals, giving us the insight and sensitivity we need to live as creative individuals and as a peaceful society'.
Rhiannon is a singer, song-writer and teacher, and explores how sounding with others, vocally and with instruments, leads to spiritual connection and healing. It is a joy to her that she has discovered so much in the later part of her career, rather than teaching music to retirement age and then ---- nothing. Life is full and exiting still.
Rhiannon is also a person-centred counsellor and a Reiki master. Her life has been transformed through sound, and she loves running workshops and working with individuals, hoping that it can change their lives also.
Paul has led voice and sound healing workshops for twenty years, incorporating vocal sound techniques from many traditions together with sound healing training.
He uses improvisation, movement, listening, sounding and ceremony to help people connect with the healing powers of sound; he works in beautiful, natural settings to integrate sound with the healing potential of nature.
Workshops are held in the sanctuary of the Sound Peace Chamber in the beautiful grounds at Primrose Haven Retreats in which have been created gardens for peace, the elements and four seasons, a sacred grove and ‘emissary wheel'.
Paul facilitates the 5-part College training programme and an additional module ‘Sound Healing and Nature' and two ‘Sound' days, to celebrate and deepen our connection with nature and the natural cycles of energy. At Primrose Haven we also run each year 2 retreats of the Magical Resonance of Celtic, Druidic and Dana Sounds. This can be an opening to begin the journey to discover our indigenous souls. There will be particular focus on working with spirals and spiral consciousness, which the Celtic and Druidic people held in great reverence. There will also be a focus on ceremony and an option to attend a sweat lodge Sunday afternoon and stay Sunday night.
The residential workshops and other retreats are run by Paul and his partner Jan who creates wholesome food from the Primrose gardens.

Through her skilful and sensitive holding of a group, powerful and life-changing shifts can take place as sound is shared, and voices unite. Phil has been working with gongs for over 45 years, initially as a percussionist and for the past 10 years as a sound therapist. He is the author of the book Gongs and Tam-tams - A guide..' the only book giving a detailed description of many of the different gongs in the world plus the associated stands, mallets and bags.
Phil's main focus is using the gong primarily as a musical instrument and adopting a correct playing technique called basic stroke. From this the healing tones will come more naturally due to a relaxed playing style. Phil is also interested in the scientific basis for sound therapy though acknowledges that there is also an esoteric quality that science cannot always define.
Phil is developing his own range of workshops based on these beliefs under the 'Scientia Sounds' banner.

She also holds twice-yearly all-night Gong Puja ceremonies at the Summer and Winter Solstices for her current and ex-students. Some 20 years ago Sheila embarked on an alternative musical route, feeling the need to use her musical abilities in a more holistic way : she studied Sound Healing with Simon Heather and Gong with Don Conreaux. She has since specialised in the use of the Gongs for Sound Therapy.
Sheila has recorded three Gong CD's - ‘Transcendence', ‘Quantum Transformations', and ‘Sounds of Stillness', and written two books on the gong which have become classic reference books in this field. They are also used as textbooks for the Gong Course. Her first book "Sound Healing with Gongs - A Gong Book for Beginners" was published in December 2010 . The 2nd book : "In the Heart of the Gong Space - The Gong as a Spiritual Tool" was published in October 2012. Both are available to order from Sheila's website.
Sheila is a member of the CMA and the UK Sound Healers Association. As well as her teaching, she has a private therapy practice near Ashburton on the edge of Dartmoor, south Devon. She is also a traditionally trained Reiki Master.

He instigated evening healing circles to encourage his clients and their families to actively take part in the healing process.
Steven was adopted as spiritual grandson by Grandfather Wallace Black Elk and lived and worked with Ted Williams, medicine chief of the Raven tribe in Rochester, USA. His spirit name Tatanka Wanagi Wichasta - Buffalo Spirit Man - was given to him by Eagle Man Ed McGaa who honoured him in becoming a sacred pipe carrier and lodge keeper in 1994.
Steven's vision is to help others fulfil their individual life purpose and to facilitate the return of the Rainbow Tribe as predicted by Black Elk. In his work with Sacred Drumming and through his life he teaches and shares the concept of the Rainbow Medicine Circle as a basis for a healthy, flourishing family and community.
Steven offers individual and group healing sessions with the sacred drum.

Jean, who has also embraced and now uses the name of Jeanie used to work as a Community Nurse. She used to support the health of adults living in challenging personal and environmental situations. She also trained as a Dramatherapist and lifestyle health Coach and Trainer.
Since retiring from the NHS, she was drawn to exploring how to open the doors of perception of the life force that surrounds us. Sacred Drumming, spoke the language she was seeking . With the drum she developed a relationships with the powers of the sacred directions of the Medicine Wheel . These sacred directions helped to find her inner compass to navigate a way through life more authentically and joyfully. She learned from her teacher that all individual life forms have a heartbeat that keeps their lives coherent and regular. Her Teacher Steven Ash said: “As every cell moves, as every thought ventures, as each tooth strikes, as bone connects to bone, we breath. Everything breathes around us; each time our feet touch the soil, there is an answering echo from beneath. Every tear that flows from our eyes connects with something else”. It is this deep undercurrent that we have the power to sense through drumming. When Jeanie is feeling off-beat in life, her drum speaks and takes her into nature where its radiant thread re-weaves into her body and mind. For her the birds appear in the sky , bestowing her with their blessing of curiosity as they’re drawn to the sounds of the drum. The rhythmic beat spilling out to her neighbours, who also come with interest and delight. Even a spider comes out from the dark corners . As Jeanie drums, a palpable energy fills her body which makes her feel alive and deeply connected. At these moments, she feels that all creatures are her friends: She touches a delicious reverence inside her being.
Working as a Sacred Drumming Facilitator makes sense of everything she has ever done. She wants to support others to know and find the space of inner and outer communion that infuses their everyday with bliss, to empower them to express their human qualities through the potent medicine of these practices.

Sound therapy and meditation helped Adrienne during a difficult period in her life. Her personal experience of the healing power of sound underpins her passion as a sound therapist.
Following a 15-year career in the NHS, where she had roles in various specialisms of Nursing, she began her journey with sound therapy in 2007, having studied to Diploma level with The College of Sound Healing, The British Academy of Sound Therapy (BAST), and The Wheater Sound Academy.
Much of Adrienne’s sound therapy work takes place in the NHS, charitable organisations and schools.
Her specific interest is in working with both children and adults with special needs and complex learning disabilities. She has developed her own unique sound sessions using a multi-sensory approach, incorporating meditation and massage into her sound therapy work, which is offered as individual and group sessions.
Adrienne has also facilitated sound bath sessions for many years, engaging her local community in a wide range of sound and meditation activities both indoors and outdoors.
She lives on the edge of the beautiful North York Moors National Park, from where she derives much inspiration for her meditations from the surrounding moorland, forests and stunning coastline.
Singing bowls have always been close to Adrienne’s heart, and she considers it a privilege to be a tutor on the ‘Crystal Bowl and Himalayan Bowl Practitioner’ training course.
Steven moved to Wikwemikong Unceded Indian Reserve on Manitoulin Island, on the north shore of Lake Huron, when he was seven and then onto Oshwegan first nation reservations in Ontario, Canada. At eleven he became the medicine apprentice of his father Dr. A.E.M. Ash, who was the reservation doctor and the first British doctor to practice acupuncture in general practice in the UK.
After qualifying as a teacher at St. Marks and St. Johns, Steven studied acupuncture with the Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), and later trained in Tai Chi and Qi Kung and Cranio-Sacral Therapy. He was granted an honorary doctorate in divinity by Brockport University USA in 1977.
In 1983 Steven opened his healing clinic in Surrey, incorporating TCM, CST, herbs and essences. Music and sound healing became part of his regular healing sessions, with patients participating in composing their own healing songs, often with huge clinical success.
Steven was given his first healing drum in 1986, and quickly found that drumming acted as a doorway into seeing ever deeper into the physical, emotional and psychological state of his clients.

Singer, voice workshop facilitator, pianist, author and composer, Trixi believes that in our noisy, busy, hi-tech society we have become separated from the simple, healing joys of singing and music-making together—an essential part of being human. She has been running voice and song/sound meditation workshops in the UK and Greece for well over a decade.
She has an MA (music education), an MEd, (University of Wales), a DipLCM (London College of Music) and has trained in Creative Music Making in the Classroom (Orff Institute, Mozarteum, Austria,) and jazz voice, piano and composition (Trinity College of Music, London).
Trixi found herself fascinated with Sound Healing initially through facilitating workshops for a variety of people, including those with special physical needs, confidence issues, mental illness and able-bodied to very severely disabled children. Over the years, she has frequently observed the profoundly healing and mood-enhancing effects of singing and music-making, and was inspired to take things further and eventually train with the College of Sound Healing to become a Sound Healing Practitioner and Tutor.
Trixi works primarily (but not excusively) with the voice, and currently runs the following workshops:
Song Meditation (mindful singing using song, chants, simple rounds and harmonies),
Sing for Joy (a workshop designed to enhance self confidence, promote fun and help participants develop simple techniques to improve the use of the voice), The Healing Voice (healing and self healing using simple toning and chant practices).
Trixi is a fully qualified teacher of Dru Yoga (DipDYT) and currently runs a weekly class in Ellesmere.

Having worked as an energy and spiritual worker for many years, sound "resonated" with Andrea's heart. Please excuse the pun.
And by amazing co-incidence she stumbled upon Sound Healing and the College of Sound Healing and maybe that's how you're curious about it too.
Well, what a great co-incidence, it was life changing and fulfilling. Andrea now works full-time as a Therapist, Trainer and Celebrant. Supporting her clients and students on their own personal healing journey. And you will self heal if you open your heart to sound. You will develop your own skills and confidence in the ancient techniques.
Born and bred in the Pendle witch country, Lancashire Andrea truly connects with nature, a natural approach to life, yet remains well grounded and loves open water swimming.
Andrea describes herself as not completely woo woo, having a great sense of fun and a wicked contagious laugh.

Ruby's journey with sound did not take a conventional road with training in music, her love for music was curtailed as a child by her piano teacher. She reconnected back with sound when she started on her healing journey after it had been pointed out that her continued poor choices and destructive behavioural patterns were causing major obstacles.
After three years Gong Therpay Ruby trained as a Gong Master herself and joined a sonic voice choir where they carried out personal, individual and earth healing's using the voice.
Ruby's professional training took her down many diverse paths giving her practice and teacher qualifications in Crystal Therapy (ACHO) , Shamanic Practice , Life Coaching, Group Sound and Voice Therapy (BAST) ,Sound Healing (COSH) giving her an amazingly holistic and balanced way of working, probably a completely new paradigm in healing.

Pauline is a qualified Sound Practitioner and Gong Practitioner, having completed the College of Sound Healing Gong Practitioner Training course in 2011, is a traditional Reiki practitioner and a Tutor and Member of The College of Sound Healing.
Pauline has worked with ultrasound in the Medical Profession for over thirty years, but throughout her life, has always had a primary interest in natural healing methods. During that time there was an ever growing interest in using pure sound for healing on all levels of our being. This passion became her prime interest, and she began exploring the healing power of Himalayan singing bowls, N.A. and African drumming, and she also attended a regular chanting group.
All of these sound activities had a profound beneficial effect, eventually leading to her present passion. It wasn’t until discovering the amazing healing power of the gong, that she found the ultimate instrument with which to work. The instrument that she had been searching for in past years, and working with the gongs has been life changing for her.
Pauline lives in West Oxfordshire, and hosts regular group gong healing relaxation events in various areas, including at a Multiple Sclerosis Centre in Wiltshire, where patients have experienced great beneficial effects from the gong healing sessions. Pauline also gives private gong bath healing treatments at home.

Tammy came to the UK from her native Hong Kong in 2012. Despite understandable insecurities of moving across the world, she assimilated into the Western culture, blending her eastern background into an amazing life of spirituality and learning.
Tammy’s turbulent upbringing brought her to find solace in meditation; and the journey never stopped. She is now an experienced and compassionate meditation facilitator. Always looking to enhance the meditation experience, she has incorporated her love of sound and instruments.
Having studied and travelled the world to attend courses and meet masters in her field, Tammy is now a skilled gong practitioner. She uses its amazing healing and therapeutic qualities to support private clients, and those in care homes and charity groups.
Her love of new instruments also led her to the incredible sound of the harp. Like so many of her ventures, she dived in 100% to this incredible instrument and is now training to be a harp therapist.
Tammy is on a continuous journey of learning, attending formal courses connected with counselling and psychotherapy and currently works with vulnerable children and families.
