HEALING VOICE IMMERSION WORKSHOP

Please note: This workshop was originally advertised as an in person session, but has now been changed to ONLINE via Zoom.

The intention of this day is to immerse ourselves in the sound of our healing voice.
This day is fully experiential and offers an opportunity to immerse yourself in the vibrational qualities of your authentic self via your authentic sound.

We will join in group sounding sessions to include the following:

• Movement and Vocal Warm Ups
• Vocal Toning and Vocal Play with and without Shruti box accompaniment (Voice Bathing)
• Vocal Toning Healing in pairs
• Mantra Chanting 
• Bija Mantra and Element Meditation
• Chanting and Singing with Drum

There will be a short morning and afternoon break as well as 45 minutes for lunch, arranged around the above sessions. Tea/Coffee and biscuits will be provided.

This day is suitable for curious beginners and seasoned voice healers alike.

This day is suitable for those wishing to:

• take a retreat from daily life and immerse themselves in healing vocal sound
• refresh aspects of the College of Sound Healing Voice Practitioner Course or get a taster of the type of voice work that it entails
• experience voice and meditation for healing
• work with mantra for meditation
• experience tools and techniques to open voice and body for sounding
• learn sacred chants
• gain 6 hours CPD and a certificate if required

 

Online and Technical Requirements:

You will need a working device such as a laptop or tablet that has a camera and microphone so that you can be seen and heard/see and listen

You may find that headphones provide better a sound quality and a more effective learning environment

You will need a minimum internet bandwidth of 600kbps and recommended is 1.5Mbps, if you are able to access YouTube/Netflix smoothly then you will be able to access Zoom

A link will be emailed to you on booking and this will enable you to open Zoom. However, on some devices, Zoom needs to be downloaded in advance. Please ask Alexandra if you are unsure.

Please note: it is your responsibility, before enrolling onto the course, to ensure that you have the necessary working electrical equipment as well as a place where you will be undisturbed to undertake the training. Refunds will not be given in the event this is not the case.

PART ONE - AN INTRODUCTION TO SOUND HEALING WITH THE VOICE

The College of Sound Healing Practitioner Training with the Voice (CoSH) ® is taught over a year and in 5 weekend modules and Part One can be taken as a weekend healing voice STANDALONE WORKSHOP. For full standalone workshop details please see Alexandra's website at:

PREREQUISITES: It is helpful if participants have had some experience of healing and voice work, musicianship is not required, just a willingness to connect to your voice and sound. It is important that you are in reasonable health both mentally and physically. Please contact to discuss if you are uncertain.

The five modules will take you on a journey through this ancient form of healing, giving you an understanding of how to use Sound for your own wellbeing and how to administer it to others. This core training primarily uses the Voice and Tuning Forks.

Additional instruments can be explored within the two additional workshops required as part of the training.

PART ONE can be taken as a standalone workshop and serves as an introduction to using the voice for healing, and helps the participant connect to their voice with breathing techniques, vocal exercises, meditations, chant and more. It should be noted that a musical background is not required for this training, just a willingness to connect to the voice and sound it!

FROM PART TWO students will need to become student members of the College in order to gain insurance to carry out case studies. It will also be necessary to purchase C and G Tuning Forks at this stage.

The course is a balance of theory and practical.

WHERE: All modules will be held at the beautiful Green Door Centre in Bosham, West Sussex. The venue set in its own dedicated, peaceful grounds, with abundant country side and close to the sea. The centre is home to a mediation sanctuary, stone circle, peaceful walks and yurt. The course takes place in the hall at the centre of the venue.

The training is non-residential.

COURSE TIMINGS: Saturday 11am-6pm and Sunday 10am-4pm

PAYMENT: There are three options for paying for the training with Alexandra.

OPTION 1: Pay in full at the time of booking receive £125 discount.

Total course cost = £1250

OPTION 2: Book and pay in two instalments.

Total course cost = £1375 

First payment of £688 at the time of booking
Second payment of £687 due 2 weeks before the Part 3 training

OPTION 3: If you wish to just book for Part One as a stand alone workshop, the cost for the Part One weekend ONLY is £275. 

If you then decide to continue with the training full payment of £1100 for the further 4 parts is required by Part 2 (Total cost £1375)
