This non-residential weekend workshop blends theory with practice and provides a solid foundation for those wishing to deliver safe, impactful Sound Bath experiences. There are currently 4 spaces remaining.
 

Who is it for?

This practical weekend workshop is designed for:

- Qualified Sound Practitioners who want to run Sound Baths

- Students currently enrolled in a College of Sound Healing Practitioner Training needing to meet the additional 2 day workshop requirement

- Yoga teachers or retreat leaders looking to integrate sound into their sessions

- Anyone seeking to expand their skills and gain CPD hours

- Anyone wishing to lead Group Sound Bath sessions using voice and/or gongs and other instruments

What we will cover

- Preparing to run a Sound Bath

- Creating and holding a sacred, intentional space

- Working with group energy

- Guiding people towards a quiet inner space

- Trusting your intuition in the moment

- Using voice and/or instruments to create a resonant Sound Bath

- Blending sound to create a seamless, natural journey

- Understanding the importance of silence and sound in balance

- Experiencing the effects a wide variety of instruments including:

Gongs, Tibetan Bowls, Crystal Bowls, Drums, Percussion

- Gaining hands-on experience with the many instruments in Danielle's collection

- Learning how to design different types of Sound Bath journeys

- Co-creating and delivering of a Group Sound Bath during the weekend
 

Certification and CPD

You will receive a Certificate of Attendance, covering 12 CPD hours or fulfilling part of the Group Sound Bath requirement for College of Sound Healing practitioner students.

If you wish to go on and facilitate public Group Sound Baths, you will need to complete six documented case studies to receive a practitioner certificate, which can then be submitted for insurance purposes.

About the workshop tutor

Come and learn how to to play the gongs with Danielle North.

Whether you are:
- completely new to the gong and sound healing, or
- an owner of a gong looking to deepen your connection with it, or
- a healer, yoga teacher or space holder wanting to include sound in your sessions

this one day workshop will help you to:

- Understand the foundational principles of working with gongs
- Learn essential playing techniques and how to create texture and flow
- Practise with a range of high-quality gongs and sound healing instruments
- Build the skills and confidence to deliver a simple, seated gong bath by the end of the day
- Leave with clarity about your next steps - whether that is purchasing a gong, personal exploration or further training

No musical experience or gong is required - just curiosity and a willingness to explore.

 

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

This is a focused, high-quality introduction to playing and working with the Gong, and our work over the day will be structured according to the needs of the participants.

This one-day immersion is designed specifically for beginners who want to feel confident to select a gong and play it.

It is also well suited to yoga teachers, meditation facilitators, coaches, therapists, and wellbeing practitioners who want to integrate sound into their sessions in a skilful and grounded way.

Diverse gong-related subjects will be covered including learning and practising various techniques. This is an ideal workshop for those who want to kick-start their gong experience and begin their gong journey with expert tuition in the powerful gong space!

There will be plenty of opportunity to use many of the different high-quality gongs in Danielle’s collection. We will also mention some of the other instruments used in the gong bath and students will learn how to give a simple seated gong bath. Over the day participants will have ample opportunity to deepen their own personal experience with this powerful healing instrument.

 

COST

The cost of the Gong Discovery Day is £175 to be paid in advance.

An early bird price of £155 is available for payments made in full by 10th May 2026.

The fee includes a £100 deposit.

 

LUNCH

We will break for lunch between 1pm and 2pm.

Please bring a packed lunch and a water bottle.

Kitchen facilities include an oven, hob, microwave and refrigerator.

Water, tea, coffee and some herbal teas will be available throughout the day.

Deposits (£100 included in the Gong Discovery Day fee) are paid to cover administration costs and to save your space in our usually fully booked workshops and are non-refundable.

Cancellations more than two months prior to the workshop - your deposit can be transferred to another workshop if there are spaces available. We offer one transfer without charge. An additional transfer will incur a £30 admin fee.

Cancellations more than four weeks prior to the workshop – refund of your balance less the deposit.
