INTRODUCTION TO THE MEDICINE WHEEL AND RATTLE HEALING - PART ONE : DRUM PRACTITIONER TRAINING: CAN BE EXTENDED TO JOIN THE WHOLE PRACTITIONER TRAINING

DATE : Saturday 13th March 2027 - Sunday 14th March 2027

TIME : Saturday 10 Am – 5 Pm And Sunday 10 Am - 4 Pm

DETAILS :

Glynde Reading Room is a small village hall in the pretty village of Glynde. The village has a station, pub ( The Old Trevor Arms), a little cafe and village shop. The surrounding South Downs countryside is very beautiful, and the vibrant and historical town of Lewes is just 3.5 miles away. 

There are numerous Airbnb accommodations in surrounding villages and also in Lewes. There is also extremely cheap, basic accommodation available at Laughton Lodge, a community project just 4.5 miles away. 

Part 1 of Sound Healing with the Drum Practitioner Course (a stand-alone weekend workshop) :

Aoife and Sandie (both qualified Sacred Drumming Tutors trained by Steven and Renata Ash) look forward to welcoming you to this weekend workshop where you will experience an introduction to the Medicine Wheel, practice Drum healing in nature and also Rattle healing.  

The main prerequisite is an open heart and a sense of adventure. We work in Sacred Circle and we are all equal in the circle.

Frame drums:
We would love you to come to a workshop with us first, to birth your own Shamanic frame drum, which is a powerful and meaningful experience in itself. Alternatively, you may wish to use your own drum.

Information on the year long course:

Should this taster weekend inspire you to carry on with the Practitioner Training, you can expect the following. Over the five modules, working with the Medicine Wheel, smudging herbs, animal and plant allies, stone people, and journeying practice, you will strengthen your spiritual relationship with the world around you and become centred and grounded in your body.

As you practice sound healing with drum and rattle, feather work, and group drumming, you will gain confidence in the power of sound and shamanic tools to heal and transform.
