HEATHER PARKER - Introduction Day - Cosh Shamanic Healing Practitioner Course

This Introduction day can serve as a 1 day workshop for CoSH members who would like to add to their current course or as an Introduction to the 2 weekend course which will be delivered later on in the year.
We will begin with a welcome and introduction of everyone, followed by calling in the 7 Shamanic directions and opening of sacred space.

1) The Medicine wheel. We will cover the basics of the wheel and how to set it up when doing your sessions.

2) We will do a Drum Journey so you can meet your Power animals or helping spirits that you'll need when doing Soul Retrieval.

3) What is Soul Retrieval?

-Lunch- Please bring your own lunch bearing in mind nut and other allergies. There is a small Sainsburys over the road from the venue or we have a cool box in which to keep things fresh. There is a kettle for hot drinks.

5) Drumming practice and Sacred Chants.

You will need to bring with you -
1) A yoga mat or something similar to lay down on. A cushion and blanket, water and notebook. The course books are included in the cost of the course and you will be sent a booking form to register and sign up for the 2 weekends.
2) You will need to bring a framed drum, beater and rattles. Please do not worry if you don't yet have one, I have a few spares which will be handed out on a 1st come 1st served basis. Framed drums are available from Sound Travels, Knock on Wood and/or Heron Drums.

Please note, you will already need to have experience in an holistic healing modality such as Reiki prior to taking this course.
