Its ethos is to meet each person with compassion, honouring our shared human spirit beyond background or belief. This calm, heart-centred place provides an ideal environment for the Gong Practitioner Training Course© – a training that goes beyond acquiring knowledge and mastering technique, into an embodied journey of healing and transformation with the gong.
Developed by Gong Master and Head Gong Tutor Sheila Whittaker, the training is a one-year CMA-certificated programme led by Aleka, whose personal healing journey and connection to the Sheila Whittaker lineage infuses the course with warmth, compassion, and gentle wisdom in a nurturing space. You’ll receive expert tuition, individual mentorship and supervised practice to develop your unique gong-playing style and master the art and science of sound healing with the gong.
The course is offered in a supportive small-group learning environment, designed to strengthen your skills and deepen your relationship with the gong, with coursework and case studies in between modules to integrate your learning and build your confidence as a Gong Practitioner. Students will need to buy their own gong by weekend 2. Support in selecting the best gong for each student will be given during the first weekend. Completion of this training will empower you with the knowledge, skills and expertise to share the healing power of the gong with others as a Certified Gong Practitioner.
