Life can be such a whirlwind of hectic busyness, stress, worry, anxiety, responsibilities, expectations, joys and disappointments. All of this constant activity and ‘noise’ can be overwhelming, can unbalance us, confuse and distract us from what’s important to us, and spin us out and away from our centre and sense of self. 

Throughout this day retreat we will explore ways to find some calm and balance, and to re-centre. More than this, we will practice various ways to find a deeper sense of ourselves within this storm, using breath, vocal and instrumental sound. 

The Day will finish with a calming centring soundbath.

• The Storm - Life's whirlwind - The heavy weather of emotional turmoil - Aftermath of physical effects

• The Perfect Balance and Coherence Within Sound

• Resonant Humming to ground and balance the nervous system

• Introduction to Vocal Tai Chi

• Vocal Tai Chi #1 - Finding and Sounding our centre

Lunch

• Vocal Tai Chi #2 - Coherent Sounding - Our Sound Self 

Break

• Contemplating the Higher Self - moving into

• Centring and Grounding Soundbath

What to bring

Please bring your own lunch, a yoga or camping mat, pillow, blanket and anything you need to be comfortable and warm for the sound bath.
