LIN BRIDGEFORD

Lin Bridgeford

Lin grew up in a musical family and has always experienced music as a connection with and food for the soul and spirit. She was born with healing abilities and at age 5 was aware of a wish, or unquestioning belief to “heal everyone and the world”, also to be a teacher.

Lin initially followed a career internationally in IT – analysis design and programming, as well as teaching dance. A motorbike accident changed her focus and direction towards healing as a career. She is passionate about empowering people to live life to their fullest potential, connecting with their light and their inner guidance.

Lin’s first encounter with Sound Healing was Tama Do with Fabien Maman in the early 1980s. She organised workshops for him in the Netherlands, where she was living, and attended an intensive workshop in France. This was the start of a deep exploration into Sound Healing that continues to this day.

Peter Goldman, Lin’s teacher in Spiritual Psychotherapy at White Lodge Centre for New Directions, where she also studied Colour Therapy, started teaching the Pythagorean method of Sound Healing using tuning forks. The method is intuitive and uses sound to diagnose which forks to use. She continued studying with Peter for decades. It was on an evening with Peter, that Lin decided to learn Gongs for a Yoga retreat, found Sheila Whittaker at the College of Sound Healing, and became a Gong Practitioner. The next step was becoming a Healing with the Voice Practitioner and a Tutor with the College of Sound Healing.

For the last 40+ years, Lin has devoted her life to studying, healing, and teaching and has 4 aspects to her Aether Bios (Breath of Life) business, CLINIC, MIND, SOUND, YOGA, all of which include teaching and teacher training:

CLINIC: Osteopathy, Kinesiology, and Functional Biochemistry. MIND: Coaching, NLP, Hypnotherapy. SOUND: Tuning forks, Gongs, Voice YOGA: Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, Chair Yoga, Pranayama (breathing), Meditation

Lin has lived in 9 countries and currently lives in the beautiful seaside resort Saltdean in East Sussex, where she has a clinic with beautiful sea views and a gong/sound room for private and small group sessions. She teaches Yoga and Pranayama at the local Saltdean Lido and runs group Sound baths locally.

Lin is a tutor for the College of Sound Healing and runs Workshops in Sound Healing (Introduction to Tuning Forks, and Introduction to Gongs, Tuning Forks and the Voice) and The Voice Practitioner Diploma training in Saltdean.
