Aleka is a holistic practitioner and educator whose work bridges ancient wisdom with modern approaches to transformation. Her teaching is grounded in her own healing journey of recovery and self-discovery, which deepened her understanding of how the physical, emotional, and energetic layers influence wellbeing, and of the power of sound as a catalyst for change. An ICF-accredited Transformational Presence Coach and certified Breathwork and Shamanic Sound Healing Practitioner, she integrates these modalities to support whole-being awareness, coherence, and authentic expression.
Over the past 15 years, Aleka has trained and practiced in a range of modalities focused on emotional integration, energetic balance, and embodied leadership. Her curiosity and love of learning led her to the gong after witnessing a performance in a local bluebell woodland in Dorset, where she lives with her husband and two children. Captivated by its depth and resonance, she was inspired to study with COSH Head Tutor and Gong Master Sheila Whittaker to become a Gong Practitioner, later deepening her craft with Tom Soltron and Abbey Del Sol of Tone of Life, and Craig and Jacqui Shankster of Silence in Sound.
As a Gong Tutor, Aleka combines her passion for the gong with her lived experience of healing and transformation. She creates an inclusive and supportive learning environment that encourages students to develop both technical skill and intuitive connection with the gong as an instrument of transformation and awakening.
